  Then they tried to give us a scratched up Kia instead of the Audi or similar (that we paid for), saying that they don’t have the Audi and the Kia was an upgrade as it is larger. We said no, we could have ordered the Kia for much cheaper through a number of different companies but we chose them because they had the Audi we were looking for. Then they took us out to see the Kia and sure enough there was the Audi A1 parked right across from it. They said it wasn’t suitable for our booking and they were holding it for another booking - probably someone who paid more money for it or for the extra surplus insurances.

  We waited about 40 min to be served. We rented Mini Countryman on the internet for £125 with insurance (the only one offered) for 10 days. Very good price. When signing documents, we were explained that this insurance is only for the hird party and if we won't buy full insurance, we'll end up paying for any scratch or dent or whatever even if this will not be our fault. Because the main driver didn't have a credit card in HIS NAME, we ended up with the only option - paying the full insurance £253, so £378 in total. We were disgusted on our first day of holidays! Never would recommend this company as the rent had hidden extras.

  We paid extra to rent an Audi A1 or similar - we wanted to get a fun, small, sporty car for our time here. After we refused the extra insurance (we have our own), they informed us that we have a 2€ per day diesel surplus charge. Fine, not listed on their details but ok whatever. They charged our credit card the €30.

  I was positively surprised by this car rental company. Very efficient service, great brand-new car with just eight km on the clock, short distances and a quick and efficient shuttle service, not to speak about a very competitive price. I really cannot complain. I would use them again.

  Needless to say we were absolutely furious, this place is a scam operation. We asked for a refund of the €30 and were told it will happe tomorrow. We will be disputing the rental car charges with our credit card and filing a report with the 3rd party we booked through.
